Ultrasound Technology and AI for Healthcare (UltrAi) research laboratory is focused on developing innovative artificial intelligence (AI) systems for neurosurgery, liver and kidney disease, orthopedic surgery, musculoskeletal disorders (MSD),  lung disease, brain health, and interventional radiology. With a long-standing track record of working collaboratively with clinicians, our research aims to diminish the gap between engineering research and clinical research and bring technologies from bench-to-bed-side. One of the most exciting areas our group is interested in is the deployment of AI-enabled point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) imaging in out-of-hospital settings to provide affordable, accessible, and connected healthcare for all.
